The Writer's Friend Index is a WWW site provides helpful grammar, syntax, and language tools for writers. Users will find an array of dictionaries for foreign languages such as French and Spanish, an acronym library, a thesaurus, and a dictionary of American slang. The site also provides a number of Internet tools such as an HTML (hypertext markup language) tutorial, as well as links to writing labs across the Web.
